General Information
The founding function of the Qur'an and Sunnah, the most fundamental sources of Islamic religion, is to explore the role of these sources as a basis for religious beliefs, to produce norms and at the same time to establish a very large-scale civilization. In addition to this, it is to investigate the theological, sociological and psychological problems encountered by all the people in the world in general, especially the Muslims in the contemporary period, and to offer proposals on the solution of these problems, by exploiting rich knowledge and cultural heritage of basic Islamic science such as Tafsir, Hadith, Fiqh, Kelam and Sufism.
